Marcia Silvia Johnson

Marcia is a Tsawwassen, BC artist and a member of the South Delta Artists Guild as well as the Richmond Potters Guild. Hailing from a family of goldsmiths, she discovered her passion and talent for art at a young age while growing up in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Marcia's passion is evident in her meticulous attention to detail and beautiful creations.

Primarily self-taught, Marcia enjoys Ceramics, painting in Oils, Pastels, Watercolours, Acrylics, Encaustic and Charcoal. She also has a keen interest in Jewelry and Soapstone carving. 

Marcia had a successful showing at the South Delta Artists Guild (Tsawwassen Longhouse) in 2006 and a month-long exhibition of her work at the Tsawwassen Public Library in June 2006. Marcia won the Delta Insurance Masters Award at te SDAG Oil & Water Juried Show in 2006. Her work is regularly displayed at spaces in the South Delta area, like the Delta Hospital, Tsawwassen Medical centre, Coast Tsawwassen Inn Hotel, Town & Country Inn Hotel,Tsawwassen Insurance. 

Marcia continues to be engaged in art workshops. She accepts commissions for fine art and portrait work.
